Margarette Ashworth

Margarette C. Ashworth, 75, of Chase City, VA, met her lord and savior on October 21, 2011. She was born on January 15, 1936 to the late Earl and Alma Carter. She is survived by her husband, Lewis, one son, Keith Ashworth and his wife, Jeanne, four grandchildren, Shannon McAden, Daniel Ashworth, Jill Ashworth, and Kristin Sutton, three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, and Hayden, and one brother, Wayne Carter. She is predeceased by her brother, Wilbert Carter, her daughter, Gwendolyn Ashworth, and grandson, Jason McAden. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Horeb Baptist Church.
