Oswald "Mike" Knight

Oswald “Mike” Knight, 71, of Chase City, VA, passed away on December 2, 2011. He was born on March 3, 1940 to the late C.W. and Nora Lee Knight. He is survived by three sons, Ricky Knight, Randy Knight, and Rodney Knight, two daughters, Brenda Mull and Brittni Smith, five brothers, Elbert Knight of Hortense, GA, Charles Knight and wife, Sandra of Ambrose, GA, Ralph Knight of Wray, GA, Doyle Knight and wife, Wanda Gail of Cochran, GA, and Bobby Knight of Douglas, GA, three sisters, Kathy Wooten and husband, Leston of Douglas, GA, Sarah Jewel and husband, Paul of Braxton, GA, and Peggy Braham of Edon, Ohio, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Florence Queensberry Knight and his daughter, Sheila Knight. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery. Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
