John L. Hancock

Mr. John Louis Hancock, age 50 of Saxe, VA passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at his residence. He is survived by; his mother Janie Rubin Scott of Clover, VA, his children Kimberly Lynette Wilkinson and her husband Josh of Red Oak, VA, Derek Anthony Hancock of Drakes Branch, VA, Krystal Lynn Hancock of Drakes Branch, VA, his brothers Kenny Hancock of South Boston, VA, Darrel Scott of Red Oak, VA, Thornton “Tee” Moorefield of Scottsburg,VA, Kenny Murray of Scottsburg, VA, his sisters Denise Hancock of Red Oak, VA and Linda Guill of North Carolina, and his grandson Dalton Wilkinson of Red Oak, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was an active member of the Wylliesburg Dixie Youth League Baseball. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home of Chase City, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
