Robert Scott Carter, age 47, of Charlotte Courthouse, Virginia passed away on June 22, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1968 in South Hill, Virginia. Scott is survived by his children, Ryan William Carter and Cierra Kay Carter, father, Jimmy Carter, grandmother, Mary Lee Carter, and special friend, Wendy Queensberry. He is predeceased by his mother, Hilda Reamey Carter and grandfather, Pete Carter. A memorial service will be on July 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Chase City, VA.
