Eula Patterson Marston Miller, age 91, of Abilene, Virginia passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born January 21, 1930 in Tennessee and was the daughter of the late George Albert Patterson and the late Pearl Loveday Patterson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Paulette Marston and Gene Barry Miller; and son; Paul Marston.

Eula is survived by her children, Linda Grantham, James A. Marston (Dianne), Gail Rowe (Paul), Ellen Sterrett (Jason), and Bruce Marston (Anita); grandchildren, Mary Katherine Carrera, Scotty Finner, Victoria Valentine, Jennifer Baldwin, Marty Barron, Philip Rolland, Crystal Blevins, Lindsey Lien, and Tiffany Marston; great-grandchildren, Felicia Carrera, Phenon Reese, Mercedes Reese, Jacob Kraus, Dakota Valentine, Sierra Valentine, Nate Baldwin, Alexis Edwards, James Edwards, Alleigh Rolland, Ariana Rolland, Kaylyn Abersold, Aerylynn Blevins and Mia McKoy; and great-great-grandchildren, Adriana Jackson, Keylanie Harris, and Tyaquwon Bragg, Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Wood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eula was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Abilene. She loved flowers and adored her dog, Jakey Boy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Beulah United Methodist Church, 12123 County Line Road, Abilene, Virginia 23923. A private inurnment service will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Beulah United Methodist Church, c/o Barbara Armentrout, 177 Lake Drive, Farmville, Virginia 23901. Checks may be made payable to Beulah United Methodist Church and all contributions will be used for her funeral expenses.
