William "Bill" Morefield

William Lee “Bill” Morefield, age 70, of Clarksville, VA, passed away on April 21, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Morefield, one son, Tony Morefield and wife Roberta of Skipwith, VA, one daughter, Patricia Matherly and husband Larry of Red Oak, VA, two brothers, Earl Moorefield of Chase City, VA, and Thomas “Sonny” Moorefield of Richmond, VA, two sisters, Alice Rothell of Victoria, VA, and Ann Williamson of Vinton, VA, two step-daughters, Gale Waters and husband David of Shelby, NC, and Susan Wootton and husband Clay of Clarksville, VA, nine step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Kenneth Johnson and Willis Hester officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior of the service. Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
