Alice Moorefield Rothell, 87, of Victoria, Virginia passed away Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born June 26, 1938 and is the daughter of the late Thomas Beckett Moorefield and the late Martha Jane Crews Moorefield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Irvin Strum and Marlen Rothell; three brothers, Sonny, William and Earl Moorefield; and sister, Ann Moorefield Williamson.
Alice is survived by her son, David Strum (Barbara); grandchildren, Christine Crute (Jeremy), Jason Strum (Angela) and Brittany Hanks (Jonathan); five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Alice enjoyed sewing, quilting, and was an avid reader.
A private service to honor her life will be held.
