Cheryl Denise Owen

Cheryl Denise Owen, 63, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was born August 14, 1960 in Brunswick County, VA and was the daughter of the late Earnest and Lillian Liles. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Earnest Liles, Jr., Bernard Liles, Jimmy Liles, William Liles, Archie Liles, Mary Williams, and Theresa Kay Liles. 

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike Owen of Chase City; daughter, Crystal Owen Roark of Chase City; grandson, Elijah Michael Roark; sisters, Edith Bollinger and Katherine Carter; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Clarence Gaulding. 

The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the nurses at Care Advantage. 

Cheryl’s favorite pastime was vacations in The Great Smokey Mountains with her family. She loved her dogs, Prince and Princess; she enjoyed watching the morning game shows on TV and most of all, she enjoyed playing and spending time with Elijah. 

On Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., friends and family are welcome to the funeral home to sign her memorial book. A private service will be held.
