Elizabeth Brame Wallace

Elizabeth “Bettie” Brame Wallace, 89, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was born February 22, 1936 in Toana, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Robert Harper Brame and the late Lois Hunt Brame.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Donald Wallace and two sisters, Annice Dorsey and Mary Trotter.

Bettie is survived by her two daughters, Donna Wallace Brumfield (Darrell) of Halifax, VA and Karen Wallace Cardwell (Stanley) of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Chuck Wallace (Denie) of Chase City, VA and Sam Wallace (Janet) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Stacie Champion (Logan), Robert Wallace (Jamie), Kacie Cardwell McAuley (Zac), Daniel Brumfield (Allison) and Laura Beth Brumfield Merrell (Will); great-grandchildren, Conner, Luke, and Dylan Champion, Robert “Brody” Wallace III, Vivian Wallace, Charlotte Brumfield, Will Merrell, Calvin McAuley, and another great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Harper Brame, several nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Sylvia Gurley. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Woodland Mausoleum in Chase City. The family will receive friends following the service at the gravesite.
