Ellen Patrice Wagstaff

Ellen Patrice Wagstaff, 66, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was born July 12, 1959 and is the daughter of the late Noell Clayton Wagstaff and the late Ellen Pauline Crews Wagstaff. 

Ellen is survived by her brother, Marshall Wagstaff; two nieces that she cherished, Lacy Noell Wagstaff and LeAnn Grace Wagstaff; and her devoted friends, Linda Philbeck, Sharon Harris, and Liz Lowrance. 

Ellen was a member of The Daughters of Confederacy and the Southside Master Gardener Association. She enjoyed crocheting and making baby blankets for friends and family. Above all else, Ellen had a huge heart for animals; she took in and loved many cats and dogs in her life. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 9040 Trottinridge Road, Chase City, Virginia 23924.
