Ellen Patrice Wagstaff

Ellen Patrice Wagstaff, 66, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was born July 12, 1959 and is the daughter of the late Noell Clayton Wagstaff and the late Ellen Pauline Crews Wagstaff. 

Ellen is survived by her brother, Marshall Wagstaff; two nieces that she thought the world of, Lacy Noell Wagstaff and LeAnn Grace Wagstaff; and her devoted friends, Linda Philbeck, Sharon Harris, Liz Lowrance. 

Ellen was a member of The Daughters of Confederacy and the Southside Master Gardener Association. She enjoyed crocheting and making baby blankets for friends and family. Above all else, Ellen had a huge heart for animals and took in many cats and dogs in her life. 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced once the date and time has been set. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Ellen’s memory to the Lake Country SPCA.
