Faye Carter Driggs

Faye Carter Driggs, 78, of Chase City, Virginia passed away November 25, 2022. She was born June 30, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clarence Irvin Carter and the late Charlotte Philbeck Carter. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Driggs; brother, Cecil Carter; and sister, Phyllis Carter Dalton. 

Faye is survived by her nephew, Chris Dalton (Ann); niece, Amy Carter; and her beloved cat, Baby Boo. 

She was a life time member of Bethel Baptist Church and was the pianist for over 50 years. Faye was very passionate about music and was a music teacher for Mecklenburg County Public Schools for many years. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Larry Davis officiating.
