Gloria Ashworth Pembelton

Gloria Ashworth Pembelton, age 88, of Fort Mitchell, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her home. She was born October 19, 1933 in Lunenburg County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Claude E. Ashworth and the late Estelle W. Ashworth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 36 years, Archie O. Liles. 

Gloria is survived by three children, Ronald Pembelton (Jeannie) of Shenandoah Valley, VA, Jeffrey Pembelton (Rebecca) of Orange County, VA, and Lynda Addison of Luray, VA; seven grandchildren, Robbie Pembelton, Luke Pembelton, Alison Hamilton, Lester Addison, Jr., Layton Addison, Lydell Addison, and Laetitia Meadows; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Franklin Ashworth and special friends, Mary Lyles, Mable Lyles, and Jerry Robinson. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at Salem Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Herman Newcomb officiating.
