Jane Price Clark, 63, of Boydton, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 after a brave and courageous battle with melanoma. She was born August 27, 1962 in South Hill, Virginia and is the daughter of the late Preston L. Price and the late Mabel Stancil Price.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Drew Clark; brother, James Price; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Linwood and Barbara Clark; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Clark.
Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Calvin Lee Clark; two sons and daughters-in-love, Bradley Preston Clark (Heather) of South Hill and Ethan Lee Clark (Kristi) of Louisa; and grandchildren, Brycen Clark, Brennen Clark, and Teddy Clark. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Price Wilson (Harvey); brother-in-law, Dennis Clark; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her special friends, Pam Jackson, Joyce Thompson, Gail Harris and Jenny Whittemore; and a host of other family members and friends.
Jane graduated from Central of Lunenburg and furthered her education by receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from Old Dominion University. She was a Public Safety Systems Analyst for Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and an Information Technology Technician for Mecklenburg County.
She loved going to the lake and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jane always had a smile and a positive attitude no matter what she faced. She had a strong faith and trusted God’s plan for her. Jane cherished her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Jane was laid to rest with her son, Aaron on February 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City. A Celebration of Jane’s life will be held at a later date and those arrangements will be posted here once finalized.
