Joseph Allen Duckworth

Joseph Allen Duckworth, 76, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026. He was born February 4, 1950 and is the son of the late James Duckworth and the late Rose Lee Snead Duckworth.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Hilda Naylor and Teressa Ownby; brother, Jimmy Duckworth; special companion, Donna Duckworth; and his beloved dog, FiFi.

Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Clarke "J.C." Duckworth (Laura Tollerson), grandchildren, Summer Duckworth, Nyla Duckworth, and Aliyah Duckworth; his brothers, Tommy Duckworth (Jo), Mike Duckworth (Claire), Billy Duckworth (Connie); a special niece, Paula Lacks; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Joe loved fishing, gardening, and telling stories. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a very dedicated employee for Lewis Tree Service.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Rehoboth Community Church, 3577 Phyllis Road, Boydton, VA 23917.
