Kenneth Bruce Thorpe

Kenneth Bruce Thorpe, 77, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was born July 3, 1948 and is the son of the late John Raymond Thorpe and the late Sara Lee Lawson Thorpe. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lanyon Thorpe. 

Kenneth is survived by his sister, Judith Townsend (Kenneth) of Drakes Branch, Virginia and his brother, Terry Thorpe (Tammy) of Brodnax, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his beloved cats, Missy, BooBoo, and Yogi. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Kenneth’s memory to the Lake Country SPCA or the Chase City Rescue Squad.
