Lee Bernard Wilson, 93, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1932 in Charlotte County, Virginia and is the son of the late William Henry Wilson and the late Willie Effie Rutledge Wilson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie "Polly" Carnes Wilson; his infant twins, Troy and Roy Wilson; his son, Thomas Lee Wilson; and twenty brothers and sisters.
Bernard is survived by his son, Timothy B. Wilson (Lisa) of Chase City; grandsons, Cody Lee Wilson (Shelly) and Dakota Scott Wilson (MaKayla); great-granddaughter, Kainaan Gracelee Wilson; devoted niece, Annette Wilson; special friend, Janice Mann; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was a Randolph Henry High School graduate. Bernard was a very hard worker and held several different jobs throughout his life. Most notably known for his employment at Spaulding Equipment, Bernard's Service and Grocery, Hughes BBQ, and Hite Carpet and Tile. He was a devoted member and faithful servant at Centenary United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He enjoyed riding his tractor and spending time with his family, especially the recent time spent with his great-granddaughter, Kainaan.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City, Virginia. Pastor Charles Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the grave site and all other times at Timothy and Lisa's home.
