Michael Wagstaff

Michael Young Wagstaff, 76, of Buffalo Junction, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born March 31, 1948 and was the son of the late Thomas Lee Wagstaff and the late Kathleen M. Lawson. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnna Wagstaff; son, Addison Shane Wagstaff; and two brothers, Tom Wagstaff and Andy Wagstaff. 

Michael is survived by his brother, Bob Wagstaff (JoAnne) of Pennsylvania; close friend, Kenny Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and friends. 

In his younger years, he was the lead singer in his band, Mike and The Midnighters. He also enjoyed listening to beach music, participating in the Clarksville Community Players and coaching baseball. He was a carpenter and handy man. Michael dearly missed his wife and son for many years. 

To honor Michael’s wishes, no services will be held. He will be laid to rest at New Hope Baptist Church in Skipwith, Virginia with his wife and son.
