Mike Reamey

Thomas “Mike” Reamey, 67, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. 

He was born October 21, 1956 and was the son of the late Thomas Lee “Tommy” Reamey and the late Jolene Newton Reamey. 

Mike was the Owner and Operator of Mike’s Body Shop in Chase City from 1983 until his retirement in 2018. He was a past member of Chase City Volunteer Fire Department, Arrowhead Gun Club and Whitetail Hunt Club. He enjoyed the lake, hunting, fishing and bluegrass music. Above all else, he was so proud of his son, Dustin and loved being Paw Paw to his grandson, Waylon.

Mike is survived by his son, Dustin Reamey (Lora) of Skipwith, VA; step-daughter, Chanel Keeton (Darrell) of Kill Devil Hills, NC; grandchildren, Waylon Thomas Reamey, Kaleb Ryan Keeton, Hunter Blake Keeton, and Kierstin Paige Keeton; sister, Linda Campbell; his close friends, Jeff Gurley, Steve Clark, Phil Clark, Norman Lawson, George Pennell and Robert Vaughan; and many other nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his friends, Buddy Lawson, Muncey Moore and Thomas Champion. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
