Norman Nichols

Norman Robert Nichols, 64, of Chase City, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Fred Hudson Nichols and Montie Bruce Nichols; brothers, James Nichols and David Nichols, and sister, Diane N. Parker. 

Norman is survived by his brothers and sisters, John Nichols (Patty) of Danville, Brenda Gholson of Chase City, Virginia Hendrick (Wayne) of South Hill, Shirley Ashworth of Chase City, Karen Pennington (Pete) of Keysville and Tommy Nichols (Rhonda) of South Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was a long time employee of Lewis Tree Service and was employed with Virginia Homes at the time of his passing. 

Norman loved fishing and would fish at every opportunity. Known for his head of red hair, he was simply called “Red” by everyone that knew him. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
