Peggy Dove Weston, age 71, of Skipwith, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born June 6, 1952 in Durham, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Burley Smith Dove and Elizabeth Doris Nichols.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Betsey and Gail.
Peggy is survived by her mother; husband, Allen Grayson Weston; two step-daughters, Shelly Watson (Jeff) of Victoria and Amy Hatcher of Richmond; step-grandchildren, Whitney Craighead (Deandre) and Chance Hatcher; step-great-grandchildren, Eisen and Charlie; brothers, Joe and Johnny; sisters, Helen and Edith; and special friend, Laura Avery.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church, 6700 Barnesville Highway, Red Oak, Virginia 23964. Pastor Kristen White will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Peggy’s memory to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 311, Chase City, VA 23924.
