Ralph Madison Allred, 91, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. He was born May 10, 1934 and is the son of the late John Ralph Allred and the late Minnie Woolridge Allred.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Allred; granddaughters, Kristin Hardy and Rachael Watson; great-granddaughter, Alexis Hardy; brother, Roland Allred; and sisters, Jere Ferguson and Betty Sue Hudson.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Watson, Susan Diane Ches (Ron) and Rhonda Allred Hardy; grandchildren, Andy Burns (Tiffany), Benjamin Estes (Karen) and Jamie Bethel (Eddie); great-grandchildren, Caleigh, Brooklyn, Landon, Autumn, Jackson, Dominique, Lucas, Nathaniel, Christian, Matthew, Tyler, Jada, and Devon; and great-great grandchildren, Zeus and Melynia. He is also survived by his brother, James Allred (Bettie); special niece, Susan Owens; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Ralph was a United States Army Veteran and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was well known from his days working at the Colonial Store in Chase City.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and family following the service at the funeral home.
