Richard Allen Hatcher

Richard Allen Hatcher, 46, of Chase City, Virginia passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. He was born March 17, 1977 to Richard Matall Hatcher and Faye Newcomb Hatcher. 

In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by his children, Kelsey Nicole Frazier (Robert) of Clarksville and Kyle Austin Hatcher (Tori Evans) of Chase City; two granddaughters, Aubrey Hatcher and Allanah Frazier; a niece, Amilyon Owen; and special friends, Jimmy Parson, Trisha Bates and Mandy Bates (Harold Tharpe). 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Faye Hatcher.

Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters. He was a former employee for the Town of Chase City.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel in Chase City.
