Sandra Schwegel

Sandra Lea Schwegel, 81, of Skipwith, Virginia formerly of Millville, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She is affectionately known as “Mummum” to her family. She was born October 30, 1944 and is the daughter of the late Walter and Ann Housand. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Roche IV and her sisters, Lois Baldasaro Lynch and Venalda Britt. 

Sandra is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael Schwegel; her daughter, Christine Cook; grandchildren, Amanda Coombs, Tiffany Franco (Tommy), Courtney Cook (Aaron), Michael Cook (Lyndsey), and Kaytlin Morgan; and her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Coombs, Owen and Aiden Franco, and Cade, Cylas, and Carter Hollifield. 

She was a graduate of Millville High School in New Jersey. She was employed by Wheaton Industries for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, specifically her flowers. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

To honor her wishes, no services will be held.
