Thomas Overton, Jr.

Thomas McCullen Overton, Jr., age 65, of Skipwith, Virginia passed away Friday, July 5, 2024. He was born July 21, 1958 in Nottoway County, Virginia and was the son of the late Thomas McCullen Overton and the late Camilla Inez Moorefield. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Lynn Hutchinson; infant grandson, Cole; brother, William Farck; and sister, Barbara Ann Overton Martin. 

Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Overton III (Toni); daughter, Elizabeth Major (Allen); grandchildren, McCullen Overton, Ethan Overton, Cameron Overton, Jackson Overton, and Jay Widener; sisters, Betty Tomlinson and Judy Jessee (Robert); and special caregiver, Unique Ford. 

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel.
