Wayne Elliott Lenhart, 76, of Clarksville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at his home. He was born February 27, 1950 in Clover, Virginia and is the son of the late Claude Earl Lenhart and the late Margaret "Polly" Duffer Lenhart.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Debra Freeman Lenhart of Clarksville; daughter, Magie Lenhart Wilkerson (Michael) of Halifax, VA; son, Aaron Elliott Lenhart (Pamela) of New York; granddaughters, Grace Wilkerson and Claire Wilkerson; sister, Patricia Robertson (Jimmy); niece, Greta Atkins (Mike); great-nephew, Mason Atkins; great-niece, Molly Atkins; and a host of dear friends.

He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Chase City. He was an Environmental Health Specialist for the Virginia Department of Health. Upon his retirement, he was a self-employed Soil Consultant. Wayne was an avid reader, golfer, and loved listening to music. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Holmes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and all other times at Wayne and Debra's home.
