The Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home was established as a family business in 1941 and was the first funeral home in Mecklenburg County. In 1992 Donald E. Allgood purchased the business and continues to run it as a family business. Donnie, Whitney and their staff believes every family deserves compassionate care and personal attention.
We were chosen as The News Progress Reader’s Choice Best Funeral Home in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
